Compassionate Friends

The Compassionate Friends helps parents and families who have lost a child. TCF provides education and information to bereaved parents and siblings, helping them through this difficult time. They have over 600 local chapters, online information, and a quarterly newsletter.  Compassionate friends also has meetings and a chatroom for parents who have no surviving children.

Bereaved Parents USA

This organization is designed to support and aid bereaved parents and families who are grieving after the death of a child. Site includes helpful information, links to support group meetings, professional referrals, newsletters, and phone support.

Babes with Wings

Babes with Wings is a site for grieving parents who have lost a baby/child at any stage of a pregnancy, and after birth. We also encourage family and friends to visit Babies with wings. We have provided many resources and support for all grieving members.

Parents of Murdered Children

POMC is a National non-profit organization with 300 chapters and contacts in the United States and Australia. Founded 1978, it provides self-help groups to support people who are suffering through the violent death of someone close. Local chapters, newsletter, court accompaniments (in many areas), and online resources are available.

Cope Foundation COPE (Connecting Our Paths Eternally) is a non-profit grief and healing organization dedicated to helping parents and families living with the loss of a child.
The National Alliance for Grieving Children

The National Alliance for Grieving Children provides a resource and network for nationwide communication among hundreds of children's centers, grief practitioners in any setting, and anyone who is seeking ideas, information and resources to better support grieving children, teens and families.

The National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children The National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children's (TLC) mission is to bring out the best in every traumatized child by creating environments where children can flourish. Currently over 5,000 TLC Certified Trauma and Loss School Specialists and Clinical Specialists provide TLC interventions and resources to children, adolescents, families, schools and communities daily.

National Association of Loss and Grief, New Zealand/NALAG (NZ)

NALAG (NZ) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation which aims to encourage and promote effective education, support and research in the context of loss and grief.  Resources include: member listings for counselling services, a calendar of loss and grief related educational & training events within NZ and beyond as well as website links, book & article reviews and audio-visual material relevant to providers and consumers.
